Subject: Ever get unmotivated to workout?

Motivation really is the key to getting in great shape.
 
Even if you're following the most absolute perfect workout plan, if you fail to actually do the workouts and eat how you're supposed to eat, you're never going to lose weight.
 
But today isn't about that.
 
Today, I want to let you know that it's OKAY to lose motivation once in awhile.
 
I know, you're probably shocked.
 
Most other fitness experts would tell you that you're gonna blow up like a big fat cow if you miss 1 workout or ever go off your diet for a day or 2.
 
But in my opinion, that's not just the case.
 
Because after eating healthy, exercising everyday and all that good stuff, sometimes you just need a break and want to revert back to your old ways.
 
And if you can control yourself, it's absolutely FINE to do that!
 
Sometimes lack of motivation comes from doing the right thing so often. It really does.
 
So if you're lacking motivation, it might just mean that you need a day or 2 of eating a little junk food, not working out, and being a lazy bum again for a little while.

Make a bet with a loved one that if you take 2 days off and don't immediately jump back into your "healthy" routine, you have to give them some money or do their chores for a week.

Subject: Is fasting hard?...

One of the most frequently asked questions I get about fasting for 24 hours is whether or not it's hard to do.
 
And the other day I realized something pretty profound...
 
For me at least, fasting for 24 hours is EASIER than saying no to junkfood.

And although that sounds kind of restricting, it's the exact opposite, it's liberating!
 
Honestly I have no idea why this happens, but it does. And it makes the fasting much, much easier.
